Santrauka
The status of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN is reviewed. LHC recently started proton-proton collisions at the record energy of 13 Tev (Run II), and the very first CMS results using the Run II data are presented.
In the last year CMS also finalized the analysis of the 8 Tev collisions (Run I). Highlights of the final 8Tev results, as well as prospects of improving the sensitivity of some of the most important searches and measurements with increased energy and luminosity are discussed. New discoveries are expected.
